Frédéric Bevilacqua is currently the head of the Real-Time Musical Interactions team at IRCAM – Institute for Music/Acoustic Research and Coordination in Paris. His current research focuses on the development of new paradigms for music performance and interaction between gestures and sound processes. In 1991 he obtained a degree in physics and then in 1998, a Ph.D. in Biomedical Optics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne.

Im Zentrum der Arbeit des Tänzers und Choreographen Richard Siegal [USA/F] steht die interdisziplinäre Auslotung neuer Formen des zeitgenössischen Tanzes.
Bis 1997 tanzte er in New York u.a. bei den Kompanie von Doug Elkins, Zvi Gotheiner, Janis Brenner, Robin Staff, Muna Tseng, Sin Cha Hong und Mark Dendy. Von 1997 bis 2004 war er Solist bei der Kompanie von William Forsythe am Ballett Frankfurt.
